Place labels or write on front of box most people tend to write on the top which is not ideal when looking for a particular box keep it uniform write in the same area on all boxes. Be detailed as to what's in the boxes just in case you pack something that wasn't supposed to go keys for example happens quite often.

Don't Overpack Boxes

Make sure you don't overpack your boxes while it might seem efficient it increases the risk for breakage so make sure everything is nice and flush with the top no bulges. Do not pack your boxes extremely heavy, as they get loaded on to the truck they must be stacked on top of each other boxes have limits stamped on the bottom.
